Descriptions:
A favourite Japanese cookie for more than 40 years, Shiroi Koibito is a delicious, sweet treat for lovers of Japanese confectionary, combining langue de chat white cookies with original white chocolate made especially for Shiroi Koibito in Hokkaido.
Shiroi Koibito cookies have a light and crispy texture that melts in your mouth, perfect as a snack with your cup of coffee or tea.
The cookie recipe used for Shiroi Koibito cookies uses just a few simple ingredients of sugar, butter, flour, and egg whites. A thin layer of high-quality white chocolate is then finally carefully sandwiched between the two langue de chat cookies.
The Ishiya Shiroi Koibito cookies come individually wrapped in a beautifully packaged box featuring an image of Mount Rishiri, one of the most scenic mountains in Hokkaido, making them a perfect souvenir or gift item to present to friends, family, and colleagues.

Smooth ISHIYA original chocolate sandwiched between crispy langue de chat cookies
The cookies sandwiching the chocolate are langue de chat (French: langue de chat), a traditional French baked confectionery, characterized by its light and crispy texture. The beautiful browning is achieved by carefully checking the oven temperature and other details.
While the langue de chat cookies are still hot from the oven, they are sandwiched with an original chocolate blend made especially for Shiroi Koibito.
There is a story behind the origin of the name "Shiroi Koibito."
Snow began to fall gently in the busy city of December.
On the way back from a day of skiing, the founder casually uttered the fateful words, "Shiroi Koibito are falling."
These words became the name of this candy, and Shiroi Koibito was born.
Sweet chocolate sandwiched between langue de chat cookies, "Shiroi Koibito" is a candy filled with kindness and memories.
When they cool, the langue de chat and the smooth chocolate will blend together to create Shiroi Koibito.
