Descriptions:
Usucha matcha blend created for EU standard
Soju is a light and creamy usucha without any astringent or bitter notes, with a light and sweet finish. It is very easy to whisk up a very enjoyable matcha with Soju as its rather forgiving in respect to temperature.
Matcha blend by Marukyu Koyamaen for Usucha, recommended for regular Matcha drinkers. This is the midline quality Matcha of Marukyu-Koyamaen line-up.
Marukyu Koyamaen often creates tea for special demands. Matcha Oju was made particularly for the European Union's market, making sure that the pesticide concentration is way bellow the maximum level that the European Food Safety Authority set as acceptable. Nevertheless all the teas we are selling at Misora meet the EU standard, and perfectly safe to import and drink.
For a thick micro-foam we recommend a ratio of 1:20 (or 1:25) at 80°C.
Marukyu Koyamaen
One of the most esteemed and historic tea producers in Uji, Kyoto—Japan’s heartland of high-quality matcha. All our Matcha blends by Marukyu Koyamaen (Soju, Meiju, Oju) are specifically blended for the European Union and hence are especially low in pesticide residues.
